Default Chrome Wheel Refinishing

This isn't exactly aimed at the wheels for the Forte but wheels in general. I have the Enkei EV5 18's and they have a chrome lip. They previous owner admitted to driving them in the winter and on the lip, there's a good deal of chipping on all four of them. I'm now wondering what I can do to get these fixed or recleared or whatever I have to do to get them looking better. The rest of the rest of the wheels are great, no nicks at all, it's just the chrome lip part. Would a body shop be able to do this or is there somewhere else I can take them? Anyone know the cost to get this done if it's even possible? I don't have them on now and would liek to get this done now so that when spring hits and I put new tires on them, they will look a lot better.

well if there are only a few chips or scratches it maybe possible to get it touched up by a wheel specialist. If there chips that have to be filled and then re chromed then that's a different story, I would called a local paint shop or a wheel shop and see if they have any recommendations.

I had to get a scratch repaired on the lip of my wheel cost $30. Could have gotten the whole lip on all 4 painted a different color for $300 total.

I'll have to look closer, I'm not sure if they are just the clear coat that is off or if there is actual metal getting chipped off. I'm sure one costs more to repair than the other. There's more than just a few though, it's pretty much scattered all around all four wheels. Isn't noticeable from a distance but up close, it just bothers me. As long as the bill is lower than buying a new set, I'll pay, just want them to look better is all.
