So in a month it will be two years since we purchased our 2019 Launch Edition Forte, and we can say it has been a great car.

My pre-COVID daily commute was about 100 miles round-trip, so I expected to pile on the miles. And in the first 4 1/2 months I did. But then COVID sent us home and the car sat barely driven for several months, and in the last year hasn't been driven to much more. So after two years we only have almost 18k miles on the odometer, when by this time I thought I'd have close to 50k!

We routinely see excellent MPG into the 30s, it drives great, and it has been completely mechanically reliable.

The only issue we had with the car was that the infotainment system developed an ever-worsening problem where it would autonomously change channels, move the cursor around, enable/disable navigation, etc... essentially having a mind of its own. The dealer replaced the infotainment head unit under warrantee and so far the problem seems gone. So we're keeping our fingers crossed the problem wasn't in the harness or somewhere else like the steering wheel controls, but time will tell.

The car still looks great, and we continually receive compliments the car's design in general, and specifically on the color which can change from a dark orange to a fiery red under different light. The interior is holding up perfectly, and I continue to find it to be a great design, which reminds me of some classic Italian interiors. The only interior issue is that the plastic satin silver plated trim pieces can be scratched easily, which is common to all cars with trim like this. I only have one tiny almost imperceptable scratch in the silver by the console transmission indicator, which happened immediately after purchase, and reminded me to take some care with those finishes. But other than that, the interior has held up like new so far.

We definitely can say we've experienced zero "buyers regret" with this car, and even after two years I find myself admiring the car  In fact, I can wholeheartedly say I'd recommend buying it again. For us the Launch Edition had the perfect mix of sporty appeal, economy, likely (we hope) longer-term reliability (non-turbo, non-direct-injection engine), and features.
