'10 FORTE EX vs. 07 TL
Iv encountered 3 so far. I beat two
. The third was racing a friend of mine in an 08 LANCER and was beating him when I slingshotted past both of them at maybe 110(2 a.m. no traffic). I slowed down to line up bumpers but he didnt want none!!!!! I did everything I could to piss him off(safely lol) enough to mash on the pedal(four way flashers, falling back and passing). But nothing worked. Whats the deal?

lol so sure huh? what can i say? start preyin after one and try for yourself....50 roll is where my experiences have been at. Havnt had the pleasure of a 0-GO. Oh and MY EX has a CAI, high-flow cat and custom magnaflow exhaust,. So id say im pushing at least 170hp from stock 156. Those extra lil horses help, today i was impressed by how slow a CTS was pulling away from me. I provoked him to see how i did. Was totally expecting to be eating dust, but no my lil Forte was screamin and hollerin but holdin his own!!!!

IDK.. I've seen and been the winner of some way one sided races.. I have serval people that were there with me taking a 97 nissan hardbody with a 5spd and a 4cyl.
and kicking the holly crap out of my friends 98 chevy truck that had a 350
I just out drove him..

anyway I agree its unlikely on a normal day with a good driver.. but well sometimes you can just be the better driver with the slower car and still win!

I havent run into a TL yet, but I killed a Tibby he even went out of his way to follow me and race and i killed him twice, once from a 50s roll and again from a dead stop and through a turn and all i got is my intake
I agree, it is all about power to weight, you could have a 173hp (180ish with an intake) 2800 lbs Koup SX beat a car with 250hp but a weight of 4000-5000lbs lol
