Well a base TL is clocked at almost 7 sec with age and neglect it maybe possible for it to lose to a lightly modded EX.

Its all about power to weight. For all we know the TL had a trunk full of road salt. A Type-S is quick but the base TL is a little "meh". Like a V6 stang'.
