idk about those 0-60 times, I've got the smaller motor sedan and my 0-60 was a little over 7, with no mods other than catback and k&n filter

I find it hard to believe anything a little over seven with 150ish HP in a 2900lb Curb Weight car.

You should bring it to the track.

Testers have the under 120 HP Fit at 0-60 in 8.5 seconds with the MT. And yes, I'm aware it weights a great less than the Forte.

AT vs MT the game differs. My civic is down 10 HP to the Forte and still gets to 60 in under 9 seconds according to my dyno app.

Your civic MT I assume. I googled some and from what I can see gripphard was spot on. Although you might get a little better times than what he posted it won't be by much. It's and AT... Cory doesn't mention if he has AT or MT either. Which would make a big difference. SX 6speed best time I've found is 0-60 7.1 seconds. Soo your not going to tell me a slush box "Smaller engine" 4 Speed AT is doing the same.

160hp 2800lb Honda Civic SI 5sp does low-mid 7's...

Yes, MT seems to be the quicker tranny choice in any small car. Except VW at least. Only small cars here in the states I can think of where the DSG (auto) is the quicker transmission for acceleration.

There was a thread on this forum related to a dyno app run with a members EX Koup 5-speed. I can't find it now.... His(her?) run had it to 60 in the high 7 second range.

Using Dynomaster I clipped a 0-60 @ 7.01 with the 2.4 and auto. However, I have a modded car. For reference my 2007 Sorento did a 0-60 in 6.4 seconds with it's mods. It's not precise but the reference between the two cars is good. The Sorento is much much quicker!

These were the numbers I got from my iPhone app Dynolicious. This was before my TurboKits CAI and I still haven't gotten around to retest with it now.

Work on that launch...If I can get a 2.13 on the auto you should be able to break the 1.8 / 1.9 60' times with the manual....That is the difference I bet in the cars is the launch. The Auto can't rev like the manual so I used the tried and true power braking launch method. Looking forward to the Turbo in this car!! 60' times under 2.0 with a turbo will make for a very fast car.

Oh and the sorento spanks and I mean spanks Civic SI's off the line and holds them! They get really really pissed and do stupid shit after an SUV spanks them. Just wait until I squeeze the Sorento...muahahhahahah!!!

I am going to head down to the race track here next Friday for street car 1/4 mile night and see what numbers I can get. Get three attempts with a 25 dollar entry.

Top container in the center console and padded with a cloth to not move around. Lays horizontally flat with the car that way. Would be nice to find a foam insert or something to fit that compartment better then don't need a cloth.

Hmm, maybe that grippy cloth that is used on the dash to hold phones and such??

I used some scotch tape to tape the phone inside that top center console and it worked great, looped 2 pieces to tape to the back of the iphone and to the console and it stayed real snug. :)

Will post my test run in a few mins once I upload the stuff from my phone.
