I don't know if its your forte (pun intended) but a sound comparison video of the different intakes would be neat. Might be hard because of the exhaust upgrade though.
The closed intake gives the slightest hint of turbo noises
Evilla midpipe rear section with stock muffler. The sound is perfect with this midpipe and the stock mufflers

AFE open intake. My daughter took off the side as well so it would be louder. With just the top open it was too quiet for her. She wants all the turbo noises. Now it sounds just like it does if you took out the airbox and drove around the block with just the intake tube in place. More noise than I like but she loves it.
