20-23 GT Rear Sway Bar

I searched for a minute but gave up. Does anyone know the diameter of the stock rear sway bar. I can check my car tonight if nobody knows. I actually meant to check this weekend when my daughter was home with her 2021 GT. The 20-21 GT uses a different part number than the 22-23 GT.

I am going to order a 22mm rear but was wondering what the increased diameter is over stock.

I'm not sure that a sway bar is a safe piece of equipment for road use. Think of it, sway.......right into another vehicle on the highway. I think a straight bar that helps you stay in your lane would be better.

Ultimately- it’s actually called an anti-sway or anti-roll bar to REDUCE the sway and body roll, lmfao..

I checked mine tonight the 22-23 Forte GT is stock with a 17mm rear sway bar. Anyone have a 20 or 21 GT they can check the diameter on with a box wrench?

It's the same size
I wonder why Kia has different part numbers for them? Looks like the 22-23 has different bushings that can not be purchased separate. I know the Maverick I owned the bushings were actually attached to the sway bar somehow, you could not remove them. The 20-21 has a separate parts listing for the bushings that the 22-23 doesn't have listed

The thickness may be the same but perhaps adjustments were made for the revised rear fascia/exhaust or to save costs moving forwards?🤷‍♂️
Did you actually order one? If so, how are you liking it?

I just remembered that Angelina Jolie's name in Gone In 60 Seconds is Sway. That might help. Fair roads and following traffic, fellow Kia owner.
