How do I setup a USB stick full of music to play in my 2010 four door EX and 2011 Hatchback EX? I have over 9gb of songs if I can use a USB I won't need to change out my CD's all the time and once the stick is plugged in can I leave it there?

Thanks, Kelley

You put the MP3s on the USB stick, plug the USB stick into the car, hit the Aux button and enjoy.

Yes you can leave it there. I purposely got a micro-sized one and you can barely even tell there's anything plugged in.
I think I read it somewhere that when plugging the USB in, the key must be turned on or off. But I can't remember which one it should be, on or off.

Thank again , Kelley

I believe it's supposed to be turned on first before inserting the USB drive but I have left my USB in the port for the past 4 years and it's fine.

One suggestion I would make is to only use a USB drive that is just large enough for your files. I have a 64GB drive that only has about 10GB of songs and it takes a LOOOOOOONG time to load. The larger the USB, the longer it takes to read it.

This is an old video and for a different Kia model but the info is the same:
