Hi there,
Hoping someone can help me. I've just bought a used 2015 KIA Forte EX in good condition, and am having trouble with the Bluetooth.

I've tried connecting a newer ipod (from 2018) via bluetooth, and the stereo system can't seem to keep up. I.e. it might play one song, then will "process" for a few minutes, then maybe play the next, or stop. Anyone else have this?

Alternately, I've paired it to my Google Pixel 2 cell phone for calls, which works fine. However, all audio seems diverted to the car, but it won't play that audio, SO if I have Googlemaps giving directions, I can't hear them, as long as the phone is paired to the car. Is there any way around this?

Thanks in advance!

Seems like it's a relatively common thing, for the Bluetooth to stop working/malfunction. Do you have the model with the little reset button? It'll look like a little hole near the CD loader.

If not, you could try disconnecting the battery for ~30 minutes to 'reset' the radio. If all that fails, you may need to replace the unit.
