2016 Forte EX flasher unit location

The 2014+ Fortes don't have a flasher unit.

Just like the fog light relay...I believe the flasher is within the Body Control Module - BCM

Thanks guys. After I posted this question I kind of was starting to realize that. I saw a thread discussion on a 2014 and I just assumed that my 16 would be the same.

I just put it all back together and spent the extra money on canbus lights.

So how the hell does the 2nd gen Fortes notify or alert others of an emergency with no button hazard/flashers?

Not sure what you mean. You push the hazard button and both sides blink at the same time.

What I've been told is the BCM makes the lights flash/blink.

.

Never have I encountered a vehicle in the U.S or overseas that didn't have the hazards/flasher button on it.

So the question on where it might be after tearing into the dashboard to find it didn't sound right.
