Hey guys,

I just got this car a few weeks ago and used this thread to find an intake. I purchased and installed the aFe 56-10005R (open top) intake and it fits perfectly. I just wanted to let you all know. It also is "supposed to" seal to the hood when you close it to keep out the warm underhood air. You can hear the turbo spool under load and has a decently loud intake noise.

Yep, no problem.

I didn't compare the IAT before but right now it's in the 80s F cruising on the highway when it's about 70 outside. I think it gets on up there sitting at idle though. I can check when I get a chance.

How good does the hood seal against the air box seal? Possible its sucking in hot under the hood air due the hood differences?

Yeah I need to check. I thought to get chalk powder or something to test to see if it even touches the hood. I'll try that when I get a chance.

Yeah it's not making contact. I got this kit on Amazon so..time to send it back lol. Sadly the sealed afe kits are $100 more than I what I paid for this one. Oh well..such is life.

Sounds awesome! I can really hear the BPV now too. So satisfying ? Very pleased with it as my first mod.

Haha, man I wish I'd have ordered that one to begin with. I returned the one I had and ordered the one you got but..ended up canceling the order because of this virus mess. Once this all blows over I'll probably order it again. Looks great though!

HYUNDAI/KIA V1 BLOW OFF VALVE

Replace the factory BPV with this one, proven to withstand 100 PSI .

And when I ordered from AFE it was back-ordered for ~2 weeks. Then "someone" called them with my order number and cancelled my order. So they made me reorder it from them. But it was during their St. Patrick's Day sale the second time so I saved an extra $20 from the first time I ordered it. Maybe give them a call and see if they can do it via phone? 844-876-9929 is their number.

GT Fog light bulbs are 9006 correct? Going to replace them the same time my BOV comes in. Need to remove the full skid plate to install. Keep getting mixed numbers for them. Even at my work for look up.

The 2020 GT isn't on Sylvannia's site yet so I can't be 100% certain What kind of bulbs are you going with? Let me know how the skid plate removal goes. Where do you work at?!
