So the only way the solenoid will void warranty is if it causes a issue for stuff to fail is the cause of a failure. I think you need to look into aftermarket parts voiding factory warranties. When i contacted GFB they also recommended the MAC solenoid. Even if you use greddy and hks the MAC solenoid is recommended. Afe is just not factory cai. I think you need to do more research and start actually talking to these companies instead of putting out false information. If you are implying that this MAC will blow ur engine that is LOL.
I didn't say it will blow anything, if you make more than a factory boost on a car your engine warranties are void. And of course the companies are going to tell you anything you want to hear. I'm an ase master mechanic out of Wisconsin. I'm just trying to save the lesser informed people from your ignorance sir. If your car is factory at 10psi and you switch to a boost solenoid that allows it to build to 18psi and 5 years down the road you have a defective rod bearing that spins for no reason beyond a manufacturer error in it...they will run your computer and see over boost and you'll be stuck buying a new motor. I have a 20 year 200k mile warrentie through metro Kia of Madison and I don't intend to void that over making a cool sound from my charge pipe from a cheap bov. A boost solenoid isn't going to cause failure of a bov piston. You bought a junk aftermarket part. Why does the factory bov not need the added vacuum? 🤔🤔🤔🤔.

I think you failed to read everything I posted. Lol. Ive used boomba BOVs in the past on other makes and models no issues. I dont think of them as cheap aftermarket parts. I never said the boost solenoid cause it to fail. Boomba identified failure of the part and sent me a new one. Even high quality parts do fail. HSK and Greddy more known and used more than GFP all 4 companies when i talked to them about the MAC they recommended the MAC upgrade for Hyundai Vol, Hyundai elentra, and the kia forte GT must be a reason why??? Yet you decide to replace the factory one then only to do a 50/50 set up. Just because u a say ur ase master mechanic doesn't mean you know everything especially with this car. Just saying because "ase master mechanics" have been proven wrong, taught new/different ways (if they not hard headed), and actually learn something new a ase study guide book doesn't teach and a test completion on a computer. Lol. Forums will always have someone like you and its not about ignorance. I find more ignorance in those that boast them selves as "im a ase master mechanic" ... Please refrain ur eliteness from soiling this location.

I'd quite like to go for the aFe enclosed airbox on my GT, but it's almost $700 by the time it lands here on the other side of the planet, which is a bit steep. Maybe in the future at some point :)

Nice looking car Johrilla.

Do you live in the Toronto area? The reason I asked because Findway floor mats is looking for a new Forte to 3D scan the interior so they can start making mats for our cars. I have used Findway mats in the last 2 cars I have owned and loved them. They told me they will give the mats for free for doing this.

Are you going for the "straight pipe" option on the evilla motorsports axle back or the sport resonator option?

I got the pro kit from eibach with their front and rear sway bars and lowering springs. (Sold for the Elantra GT). The springs lowered it about an inch in both the front and back. Driven it maybe 100-150 miles and it feels way better than the OEM ones. Really happy with them.

Here's a picture with it after lowering, the gap between the wheels and the wheel wells is pretty much gone. It doesn't look uneven or weird, looks like eibach did a good job making it swap and play. The only hard part of the install was that the front requires removing the steering column and control arms. Took about 5 hours to get everything done with help from a mechanic at a shop.

Hey guys. New here. Picked up my GT back at the end of December. Have been looking for some upgrades. I haven’t long had a cat back exhaust. Another guy in here said it drones at low rpm. Listen to him. It’s a really mean sounding car. Very quick but I had a couple of questions. I was told a aftermarket bov would slow my car down due to it would vent to atmosphere rather than in the air box slowing boost pickup when you get back on the throttle say during a gear change. Maybe someone can clarify that. Where did the guy with the blue forte get the led fog bulbs? What is the best tuner for the car. I heard great things for hp tuners but I’m not sure what all is compatible with our cars.
