Since I see several topics looking for things for our GTs and non GTs. Ive decided to make a one stop topic for links and discussions for Mods and Performance Upgrades.
That’s stupid as hell. Kia dealer had no issue warranting my oil pressure switch issue despite wheels, tires, short shifter, chassis braces, etcAt this point I just assume whatever I do will void warranty.. makes life a lot easier.
my 2015 camry xse had a special bumper to bumper warranty that got voided for drivetrain/power train because I had BBS wheels on it... the claim was that the car is specially designed for that exact weight of the factory wheel and I have altered the dynamics of the car... I know it’s BS but what am I going to do?
I’m sure they would warranty a switch... but transmission, suspension, brake failure etc... voidThat’s stupid as hell. Kia dealer had no issue warranting my oil pressure switch issue despite wheels, tires, short shifter, chassis braces, etc
Brakes and suspension are both wear items and won’t be covered anywayI’m sure they would warranty a switch... but transmission, suspension, brake failure etc... void
This was on my camry.. it was a 3 year that covered everything but tires and brake pads. 3 year/130,000 warranty. Custom warranty package and not worth it one bit.Brakes and suspension are both wear items and won’t be covered anyway
Works perfect, I have it on my 2023 GT 6spdNot sure if Racechip GTS would work on my 2023 GT, I guess I will wait a bit.
That sounds really heavy for an 18” wheel, although I don’t know the actual specDoes anyone know how much the GT stock rims weight? From what I can gather, they are 28-30lbs?
Model number is ALY74804
My wheel and tire combo comes in at 52 Lbs!!!That sounds really heavy for an 18” wheel, although I don’t know the actual spec
Yep 27.5 is what I foundLooking at similarly built wheels, oem rims might actually be 25lbs-28lbs.
Yes they weigh around 28 pounds. Stock wheels are heavy.Does anyone know how much the GT stock rims weight? From what I can gather, they are 28-30lbs?

Damn. The factory Volvo 18x8s that are going on my V50 are only 24 lbs, and I thought that was heavy! The aftermarket 17x7 summer wheels on my Kia are 18.4 lbs.Yes they weigh around 28 pounds. Stock wheels are heavy.
Took'em long enoughOfficial made for Forte GT part number from Eibach. No more using ES ones. Supposedly more stiff than ES bounce and lower drop than ES ones.

Two years ago a FGT was given to Eibach for fitment. Now we finally get them lol. I ordered them yesterday.Took'em long enough
Us 2.0L folks are stuck with the AEM. Not worth the almost $400 price tag I don't think, especially when the MAF sensor means you can't really get any performance gains out of it.And guys/gals, you don't have to get an AFE intake.EVO1301 - Injen EVOLUTION Cold Air Intake System | Injen Technology
