He not going see lights on the dash with those mods. Aftermarket Downpipes are mostly when lights come on.

Are you not in FB groups? There plenty of tuned cars with intake and plugs. All the EK does is load tune files that are saved on it. Great tool for switching back and forth and still modifies the ECU like bench or remote tuning.I would love to see this EK1 Lite OBD Flash and Logging Device – N75 MotorSports with a 93 octane tune on a stock Forte GT. I feel that the gains on a stock vehicle would be better than full bolt ons and piggyback combo. Pretty sure this device allows you to switch between stock or upgraded tunes as well which is a big plus. After that it would of course be great to see what can be done with the bolt ons added on and the 93 octane tune optimized for them.
Not a big fan of FB but I might look when I get some time, what kind of draggy numbers are those stock cars doing with a N75 93 octane tune? Are you not in FB groups? To be honest most do not buy dragy units. It's a great tool. Most Tuners will tell you swap plugs and gap correctly and at least a intake. Most post on this on thier site as well. Since boost will increase and other things will be changed plugs are alway asked to be changed with setting new gap with tuning. Not a big fan of FB but I might look when I get some time, what kind of draggy numbers are those stock cars doing with a N75 93 octane tune?
I would only want a tune if it could be loaded and changed back to stock whenever I want and not have to go to a tuner, do it remote, or swap the ecu. That is why this device seems perfect for people who want to return car to stock easily if need be. I am not so sure you even need the intake and not convinced plugs are even needed with a 93 tune.
I've yet to see power drop on this platform when lowering the gap to correct specs tuners or advance piggyback units request. My only guess on this is a Racechip thing as it is a low entry piggyback not doing much over stock may not require better plugs or re-gapping.With a piggyback and higher boost I tried the smaller plug gap for the fun of it. Power dropped, mpg dropped and the engine had an odd abrasive feel to it. Hard to explain. Went back to stock gap and it runs much better at level 5 and 7. Stock plugs are at 6000 miles on Racechip at level 5 Power with 4000 miles on 87 octane and 2000 miles on 93 octane, they look perfect with no issues or misfires at all.
I would say that piggyback's on this current 1.6t platform definitely do not need any changes to the plugs. Stock plug and gap have proved to be the best performance in my experience. I can't speak with any firsthand knowledge on a ecu tune that changes other parameters to improve the high rpm power that the piggybacks tend to lack (5000-6500). Obviously a dyno comparing stock plugs to replacement plugs with reduced gap would be the best way to determine exact gains. Has anyone actually had a problem with a 93 tune on stock plugs or does everyone assume you need to change them since that's what everyone says to do?I've yet to see power drop on this platform when lowering the gap to correct specs tuners or advance piggyback units request. i wouldn’t wanna spend more then 300 on a bov
I keep my GTS on 7 always with stock plugs and premium fuel (California’s idea of premium) If it’s over 100 degrees outside I can get slight detonation under a really heavy load. Not worth re-gapping plugs over it.I would say that piggyback's on this current 1.6t platform definitely do not need any changes to the plugs. Where are you getting this data if you are not in these FB groups where Tuning Companies and JB4 owner/members are at? Tuners even agree on gapped plugs on JB4 piggyback. Most don't even recommend Racechip because it's cheap close to stock performance. If you where in most of these FB groups with the owners of tuning companies and JB4 company you would be better educated than on a forum like this. Just be glad "some" well educated people for this platform are in this forum. Most Tuners and companies will not be in here to educated people. I have seen plenty of blown stock plugs using stock gap on JB4 and ECU tunes and not listening to tuners advise on plugs and gapping. It's been tested for many years. Again the correct data from companies will not be here in a forum. I suggest you branch out to the FB groups for the data you seek.I would say that piggyback's on this current 1.6t platform definitely do not need any changes to the plugs. I'm actually calm. The fact is these Tuners and Companies dont use these types of forums anymore. They are on Facebook Company groups and the specific model car groups. The data he seeks and will educate him are there not here on this forum. Yes the pros are on Facebook than a forum like this.Damn ya got pissy quick this time.
Facebook. That’s where all the pros go.![]()
But your words come across like a total dick, he’s just asking questions.I'm actually calm. The fact is these Tuners and Companies dont use forums. I guess stating truth is being a total dick which i can take that. He began with "I would say" first and then asked a question. I answered accordingly and gave him the outlets where he can get more educated by the pros. If he chooses not to go to those outlets that's on him and best of luck looking for correct data. Sorry you didn't like it. Lol.But your words come across like a total dick, he’s just asking questions.
i also would like to know exactly which blow off valve to get for the best results there are a lot of different gfb ones.how does the jb4 work? i want to do some mods but not sure exactly how to run that jb4. i had a bama tuner for my old 4.6 08 mustang, but they don’t seem like that same thing. i also never had to change spark plugs for it.
I'm going to post this link here because Im getting rdy for plans this evening. We can talk more about later also.how does the jb4 work? i want to do some mods but not sure exactly how to run that jb4. i had a bama tuner for my old 4.6 08 mustang, but they don’t seem like that same thing. i also never had to change spark plugs for it.
The hybrid is the most popular with options. The trumpet is separate and make it alot louder. N75motorsports have them on sale.i also would like to know exactly which blow off valve to get for the best results there are a lot of different gfb ones.
