2019+ Forte Tunes and Piggybacks

I would like to see how much QUALITY info we can put in this thread about tunes and piggybacks for this platform. We don't need to bash one vs the other but simply try to find as much FACTUAL info to help people decide what is best for them. It would be great if the vendors wanted to take part as well but I know most don't like to put themselves into that atmosphere. We could probably start by listing the current tunes and piggybacks that are currently available. Here is a list of the top Forte GT users on Dragy and the info they have listed. Everything is rounded to tenths since hundredths don't really matter. Most of the cars listed have intake and exhaust of some type that I did not list. In reality those things only make a tenth or two of difference but help regardless.

Here's my Draggy results so far.

60ft 1/4 mile MPH 1/8 mile MPH
2.54 14.55 97.78 9.56 78.47

Mods listed below. I am in the process of ordering the ECU and TCU tunes from N75 so we'll see the difference...
I put your new 9.4s 1/8 and 14.5s 1/4 mile up top

Thanks, I was just about to post that pic from my last Draggy run. That one was with the new tires (General G-Max RS in 225-40-18).
Made a run yesterday with the Wagner intercooler. Not a great launch but the MPH was up a bit.

Well at least it shows a small improvement. Not as much as I would have liked but better than staying the same or getting worse. Should help in day to day street feel with more ability to keep the intake charge cooler than the stock intercooler.

I'm sure it will do better. My launch was not great as you can see from the 60ft time... I'll make another run soon.

To get full gains will require ECU tuning.
Completely understood. I'm in the process of tuning with N75 right now. Just waiting on the TCU to be returned along with the remote tuning interface to tune the ECU. I'm hoping that combo will get me deep into the 13's.

The N75 ECU and TCU tune will get you into the 13s. Got lower engine mount bushings or SXTH Element lower engine mount? That will help with any wheel hop.
Looking forward to seeing the results along with your feedback on daily drivability.

I haven't gotten the bushings yet, but they're next on the list of things to do.

Me too... I've heard that people with the N75 tune typically see better MPG on the highway as well as the added power when the skinny pedal is depressed.

Would anyone here hesitate to run a RaceChip with setting #5 on a GT2 DCT as their daily?

I run #7 always... 104 mile commute per day

6000 miles on Racechip at 5. About 3000 with 87 octane and 3000 with 93 octane. I like mine on 5 since it feels stronger from 2500-5000 rpm than 7. I think 7 has a slight edge above 5000 rpm but feels weaker in the lower rpms

My car was not happy with 5 and 6.. 3,4,7 were good. Don’t ask me why

I've got over 12k with it on a combo of 5 and 7 and drive 85 miles per day... no issues.

You guys with the GTS using the App to control/change setting # or just popping the hood? Is the $50 worth it for the app?

I don’t have the app. Not a fan of big brother.

I like it, I really only use off, 5 or 7. 95% of the time I am set at 5, I figured I am spending $400 so what's another $50 for the convenience of the app. If your buying a Racechip wait for a sale, they do 20% and even 25% off a few times a year.

If I was short on funds I would probably be just as happy with a RS and no app on sale ($300?) since I am almost positive the RS highest setting is like 5 on the GTS. I don't know if anyone ever verified this on here.

The GTS was the second thing I purchased for the forte, been on #7 almost the entire time. Today just for the heck of it I tried #5 on my commute today. Totally different #5 from what I remember. Definitely not as punchy at higher RPM but a lot more usable performance for sane driving.
