Listen to the exhaust...does it sound like a hissing sound while accelerating? If so, the catalytic converter, resonator, or muffler could be stopped up. That would explain no trouble codes too! I had that happen before...twice! (but not in my Kias so far)
I’m at the dealer now. The car has 4 cylinder coils and one has gone bad. The computer tells the car to go in engine and transmission protective mode as to not ruin anything major. One of mines has went out so I’m having it replaced and he said it should go back to normal. I’ll keep you informed if it works

I had a coil crap out a few months ago and it tripped the CEL. When I ran codes, it showed the code for a misfire on cylinder two. I checked the plugs first but only had 15,000 miles on new ones. I swapped the plug between cylinder one and two and STILL have a misfire for cylinder two. I swapped the coils between #2 and #3 and then the code for a misfire on cylinder 3 showed up. Bought a new coil off amazon and everything's been good since then. Coil swaps are very easy to do. I hope you didn't get gouged at a dealership.
