So I just installed a AEM cold air intake for my forte GT 2022 and sometimes I feel the pedals vibrate not to the point where you can hear it but enough to feel it If you get what I mean. Is this normal to the AEM user's out there? I do have my stock exhaust on there with a turbo muffler as well. Maybe that's it. Thanks in advance

UPDATE: SITUATION IS RESOLVED. INTAKE TUBE WAS RUBBING UP AGAINST THE BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT IT IS TIGHTLY SECURE AND NOT RUBBING UP AGAINST THE RESERVOIR SO YOU DON'T GET THAT FEELING OF VIBRATION ON YOUR BRAKE PEDAL. SAVING YOU THE HASSLE OF TRYING TO FIND THE ANSWER THROUGH THE THREAD.

I am missing one of the screws that supports the mouth but it seems like it's on their tight. It's that black thing that you pop downwards and then you can take it off with a flat head. Do you think that could be it? It landed in the splash guard and I couldn't get it out

If it does it at idle I would feel for excessive vibration under the hood. Check if the hood is vibrating/loose at idle when it's closed as well.

It's not as excessive at idle it's a very small vibration You can hardly notice it. But when I go up to two RPMs going at 60 mph it starts to vibrate a lot harder. But not too crazy.

So is it vibrating when you accelerate or when you brake? If acceleration I would look closer at your intake install. If braking I would look into the front rotors. If you took it up to 80+ and stopped hard a couple times they could be warped

Mostly when breaking. You can feel the car downshifting with the DCT when braking and going into a full stop. The brakes are fine. Feel like it has something to do with the exhaust cause I do have two mufflers on this car. A turbo muffler/resonator and the stock exhaust with the muffler. And I feel like maybe there's not enough air coming out of the exhaust and it's causing the brakes to vibrate whenever I go up to two RPMs. Or maybe that resonator is causing vibrations. I hope what I said made sense 😅

Like right now I feel a little bit of vibration on the brake pedal just at idle so I know it's not the brakes. Something is colliding with the brake pedal to cause vibrations whenever the engine is going at high RPMs.

All right so right now I'm on the highway cruise control at 70 mph I put my foot on the pedal barely touching it and it's vibrating like crazy so it can't be the brakes.

I don't know how it could be either one. It just started as soon as I installed the cold air intake and started driving it It never did that before. I just hope it ain't nothing serious I'm just trying to be part of the car community.

shake the exhaust around with the exhaust tips and see if you hear it hitting the underside of the car anywhere.
