Velcro... but on a serious note, an add-on lock will just make a thief want to know why you did it in the first place. A false bottom would be a better option since the console is flimsy and a lock will only keep an honest person out.

I still find it stupid that these cars don't have locking glove boxes. I've never owned a car before this one that doesn't have a locking glove box.

I used to buy used cars in my younger days...and EVERY one of them that had a locking glove box had a door that showed signs of forced entry. :)

I don't keep anything of value in the car - just the owners manual, registration, insurance card, and a pen.

I've never seen that before and I've owned like 10 cars with locking glove boxes. My Volvo even has a locking false floor in the trunk, so you can lock big things in there.
Same here - just the basics. I hate having piles of crap in my glovebox.
