Recently i've noticed that when i am driving on the freeway, with the AC OFF, Air is coming through the vents. It feels like the AC is on, but i double checked and its completely off. I tried turning it on and off, still the same. Any one had this problem before? do you consider it a problem (especially since winter is around the corner)? and, If you had the problem, how did the dealer fix it?

Not a problem...when the fan is off there is stil air coming through the vents from the pressurized air at the base of the hood...click on the recirculate button and the air flow will stop. This is common to some Kias and other cars that don't have an "off" switch to close the air intake system. Or you could turn the heat knob up to warm the air so it isn't so cold.

this happens with just about every single car, just some are more noticeable. Like stated above just turn on the recirculated air button and it will close the cabin off from the outside air. This button is put there so that you can get fresh air thru your car or to recycle the air inside, which is a good idea in the winter!!!

You can thank Ralph Nader for that one. He is the consumer advocate that fought to have constant ventilation in all vehicles bound for the U.S. market. It is supposed to keep us from suffocating if there is an exhaust leak into the cabin. Appearantly carbon monoxide kills.
