Hey all,

Just noticed this section for new members. I'm located in Rockland, Ontario, Canada (30 mins east of Ottawa). My wife and I purchased the EX Sedan a few weeks ago and absolutely love this car so far!!

Specifics of our Forte:

Black EX Sedan
16" Alloy's
Power Everything & Heated cloth seats
KIA Hood Deflector (Have always put one on to protect the hood from stones, looks pretty good)

Plan to do the following:

Tint the windows (Only allowed 35% on front side windows in Ontario, not sure if I should do 35% all around or go a step darker on the back windows)
Change the emblems (really like the 'K' emblems that I've seen)
Might take a stab at painting the calipers as well (any suggestions on colours?)
K&N drop in filter or might wait and see if AEM will make a DRY-Flow drop in for our cars.

Anyways, great to be on board with you guys....this board has given me so much info. already.

I have ontario legal limits. 35 on the fronts and 25 or 20,m (cant remember) on the rears/rear window and it looks nice. You wont even notice the difference after a while unless you really look.

D
Ya was thinking I'd go with that too....will help keep the sun of the young lad in the back :p
Wecome!
I'm also considering painting the calipers too. Be sure to use the kit that uses a paint brush and you need to mix a hardner. I found that to work best and lasts longer than the spray version.

If it comes with a paintbrush that has a metal handle and plastic bristles, buy a different brush. Unless you like having little black bristles glued to your calipers. :p
