what amp you gonna be runin?
Either a Crescendo bc5500 or DC 5k
I want to see where I'm metering at with one amp, may eventually move up to 2 5ks.
Subs will be firing forward and sealed off. I'm trying to get around 3 cubes per woofer at around 40hz with a port plug to tune it down into the low 30s for daily.

What's the volume of the box in your picture?

both of those amps are sweet. i wish i had the money to afford one of them. and sounds like a pretty good setup. and the box is roughly 5 cubes.

Alright, I posted in the wrong section I actually have a sedan, is the Koup trunk the same size as the sedan? my trunk is huge but the opening is meh...

Those mojos are pretty beast too, Zach Mettz(2x world lightweight Bassboxing champ) uses the Mojo 15s, 8 on 4 powerbass 5ks, last time I talked to him he was going to put a 5k on each mojo.

I believe the trunks are the same size. And the opening on the koup is meh. If you don't build the box in the trunk your probably gonna take the seat releases off until the box is in. That's what I had to do.

And that's cool. I didn't realize he ran the mojos.

Oh and are you gonna be gettin a h/o alt?
Eventually maybe, the forte has a decent size alt for the size car, Im hoping 2 runs of pos and 2 of neg will be good along with 4-6 batteries.

Iv only got one quote on a H/O alt and it was $405 shipped for a 200 amp.
Whats with this car and the "Smart" alt? wtf is a smart alt? lol

I have no clue and I have tried to find out. But everything just says smart alt. Nothing else. And who did you get a quote on the alt from. I have serious voltage drops and I have a second bat.

Excessive amperage, I am going to call DC power, Ohio gen and a few others for quotes when I get the money together. what does your electrical system consist of? Your amp doesn't quite do rated power but just one extra battery probably isn't going to cut it. What size power and ground are you running?

I'm running all 1/0. Added a run of 1/0 from the alt to the front bat. Regrounded front bat with 1/0. 20'run of 1/0 from front to back battery(c&d technology battery). Grounded second bat to bolt where spare tire used to be. And another run and then ran wires for for pos and neg to the amp. And idle voltage is 14.5 on a warm day. And up to 14.8 (usually 14.7) on a cold day. And I know it doesn't quite do rated but it's close. Haven't clamped it so o don't know exactly what it's pushing.

C&Ds are great batteries, especially for the price, last time I bought them I paid $32 a piece for refurbished ones with an 18 month warranty, 94ah and 80lbs. Id add a 2nd one with the amount of power you're running. Whats your voltage dropping to?

32$!!! Holy crud. That's a good price. I paid 165 for the 100 ah model that was used, but that was including shipping. And definently gonna ad another one. Had already planned on that. and if I'm not Goin full tilt 11.8 but at regular listing volume(8-15 volume range) it usually only drop to 14 or a little below.

yeah well we have a "top secret battery spot" in Tampa. Last time I was there they had the 240ah 24" long Lifelines for $70.
Id add a 2nd C&D if you can find a cheap one. I try to stay above 12.5 full tilt.
