Are chrome rims out of style these days? I really want chrome rims for my Titanium Koup but I don't know if they are out of date or not. Black seems to be the most popular these days, but I don't like them, they just look dirty and cheap because they match the tires too much IMO. I've seen a few chrome rims on some sites in my price range, but I don't want them to be out of style and too show-offy. What do you guys think?

ive seen civic si's with chrome rims and they are good looking. you just have to find the right rim and not go overboard with it but i think they look good.

Get what you like and what you will want to look at. No matter what you choose someone will hate it. And styles change so much its almost not worth trying to keep up with them.

Ditto! But chrome wheels need the utmost care to prevent pitting and rust. And need to be removed prior to first snowfall as road salt will quickly destroy them.

Personally I don't like all chrome wheels. But they are certainly not out of style because when I drive through the hood that's what EVERYONE has. They are just way too shiny and tacky for my tastes. I do think however they look good on some cars, unfortunately I don't think the Forte is one of them. This is just my opinion, if you like all chrome then that's what you should get no matter what anyone else thinks.

They are very similar; really comes down to whether you want the rivets or not. I don't think the rivets match the Koup's look.

I agree with the BChris- I'm not a big fan of the black rims. 20 years ago I start customizing a truck I had and everyone back then had chrome rims. It does seem like it's gone out of style these days though.
As far as the two rims- I really like the first one.

I didn't like chrome until I saw them on a Black Forte Sedan, then I bought the car, that was my first Kia now I have a Koup. I'm not a fan of black wheels either but if you like something don't worry what others think
The top is Ruff, the bottom is Verde.
Those wheels do look good on it. I wonder if someone would be able to photoshop the rims I have posted onto a titanium koup cause its hard to make a decision when you can't tell what it would look like on your car.
