Ok,so i've had my SX for 45 days, i have 4300 miles on it, and my tires are nearly bald. By nearly bald i mean they're about to touch the "wear" line that they have across them. This is only for the front tires. anyone had the same thing? btw, i never burnt rubber or did any type of burnouts. if you want pics i have them. :(

Wrong PSI? I mean stock tires suck, I mean 30000km and you need new ones, but not as bad as you are describing.
Perfect 32 PSI checked every weekend
Mine are the same way. You're due for a tire rotation. I'm actually having to change my tires at 25,000 miles. I'm living on the coast and the rough roads are having a huge effect on my stock tires.
i dont know if its just me, but your front tires look different than the back. and different as in a different type.

Nope, they're the exact same, same writings on the side walls, and i remember when the day after i picked it up it was the same. Its just worn down that bad
Its because a lot of weight is being put onto your front tires alone. That and the fact that its an FWD car. :p You've got to get your tires rotated. So that all the tires wear down evenly. Kia suggests that every other oil change you get your tires rotated.
ya iv noticed the same thing.... i am just going to rotate them for the winter and then hopfully next spring get my rims
I'll have to check the information exactly... but my Koup came with a tire warranty from Hankook. Not sure if you have the same stock tires, but there was a replacement guarantee if they wore prematurely and 30k is certainly premature in my book. However, there is probably a stipulation about properly maintaining the tires, which includes rotating them which could void the warranty. It looks from the rear tire pics you posted that you haven't rotated them. At 30k they should have been rotated at least 4 times. Regardless, it never hurts to ask...
After 4300 miles!?!?! That's NOT normal even if those OEM wear quikely!!

Whoa! my mistake! I thought for some reason you said you had 30k on the tires! I saw Matemorh's post and realized I was wrong! Definitely go back to the stealership and get some new rubber!
I would also start some phone calls to the tire manufacturer and get them involved too.
talk to kia about getting an alignment done.
I have 6600 miles now and nearly a year old and yours are much more worn down than mine. I did a few smoke shows at the track this summer and spun the tires quite a few times in quick launches during the summer too. I have the Nexen 16" stock tires. Maybe rated higher?
I just did new tires at 21k miles and I had the crappy nexens.. They were completely worn out at 21k the full set even with rotation...
I stopped by the dealership last night around 4:30, showed them, and the head of service seemed to agree with me and told me to bring them in with my next service (the week after thanksgiving), and that they will "take care of it". right now i had them taken off and i am now running bridgestone Blizzaks WS70.
you need to get your car align.... The dealers are not doing this before you buy the car... It's free before one year..
shouldn't the alignment be correct from the factory?

Mine wasn't!!! Not far from spec but still!!!

Probably wearing down those new Blizzaks prematurely due to improper alignment.
