I just had a dynomax super turbo mini installed and it sounds great. Idk about the magnaflow or the borla (i've heard chambered mufflers aren't good for 4 cyl's). Anyway, I used a 2" in, 2" out, center/offset. Hope that helps.
Borla or Magnaflow
so im deciding on which muffler to get. im stuck between the magnaflow 12865 or the Borla S-Type part # 40842S. being that the borla is only about $100 more than the magnaflow, money isnt really my main concern. my main concern is the sound. which would sound better on my sx koup?
also, i noticed that some mufflers have a 2.5" inlet/outlet and some have 2.25" inlet/outlets and that both were used by some of you on your koups. do they make a differnce? or can i get either outlet/inlet size, and the muffler shop will be able to install either one with ease?

the 2" inlet and outlet wasnt a problem when you had it welded right? like it wasnt too short or something. sorry if i seem slow, im not too sure about the reason behind different sizes on each end of the muffler.I just had a dynomax super turbo mini installed and it sounds great. ive seen this video many times, and its the main reason why i'm leaning toward magnaflow! ive seen aidens videos and it sounds great, but i dont plan on putting a cai in anytime soon, so i just want a stand alone muffler that sounds good. thanks for your input!

I bought the muffler from a local speed shop and paid about $39. The install was only $30.
As for the muffler- it's a little loud, but needs to break in some. It's a very low, mellow tone; not raspy at all and at idle, I can barely hear it rumble.

lol cant go by me, i drive like a maniac! but i think i average the same as i did before i put it on. so about...22 mpg!! lol theres alot of honda civics over here so ya know...gotta show em whos king!

haha i was racing some old a$$ maxima on the LIE last week, it was pretty funny when i looked in my rearview and watched his ghetto taped on aftermarket front bumber fall off and was dragging under the wheel! bumper looked like it wasnt even made for that car! lol

used to street race my mustang, and last time i checked that thing was made in america!
and i never been to the meets in LI. but my father used to do closed road racing in farmingdale. i think its farmingdale lol but that was with his 65 mustang...back in 65 lol we used to have car shows over here but the douchers with the harleys ruined that! but yea, if theres ever a meet in LI, let me know, ill be down

I had a Borla ProXS in my Elantra GT and I loved it. While it's not as shiny as the Magnaflow it definitely has a deep, sexy sound.
