Bright White Bulbs

Are any bulbs that i can just pop in, and not have to do more HID wiring to give my day-time running lights, fog lights, and hi beams, a white look to them, they kinda of look awful with the stock yellow look, and i want them to compliment the bright ass HID i have installed already,

any suggestions thanks!

Yes there are. Nokya USA is one option and another option is Luminics USA - Luminics Headlight Bulbs

Google is your firend ;-)
I know Walmart has a line of lights that they carry called "Super Brights", I planned on picking up a pair of those for my highbeams once I get my HID's installed next month.

Walmart sells plenty of top quality car products, they sell the same brand of lights that autozone and pep boys sells. I use the Exxon Mobile Mobil 1 Engine Oil that they sell, I don't see why you wouldn't trust what they sell *boggle*

That's a pretty broad statement without any reasoning ;)

Its more or less i dont want to shop at walmart, they will the be the downfall of western civilization...
FEARtheFOX, I have been googling things like that for quite a while and had not managed to find anything.. I guess I was searching the wrong terms. Now I know that our headlights are H11B, and can install H11 HIDs, but could we replace the H11Bs with regular H11 bulbs?
Not without modifing the connector. An h11b is 90 degrees and an h11 is straight out. Look at the pic of an hid install, you will see how they have done this.

@radam: bulbs are as follows....
DRL is 1157
fogs 881 but 880 fits
Highs are H1

More info on bulbs....

GO with silverstars if you can afford it !!!!!

The last time I had checked on their site they didn't have them yet, at least not h11b... Can someone direct me to them if they have found them?

+1.
just so i got this right...
when i look at the thread you pointed me to http://www.forteforums.com/forums/f...ng-light-bulb-size-type-need-help-please.html
it says the hi's are the same as the DRL, and that the front turn signals are 1157, is that correct?

1156 LED BULBS
so which one of these would you recommend for the 1157 DRL, not sure what the difference is between the: ALL DIRECTIONAL (SMD 5050) 2.52w, DIRECTIONAL THREE 1 WATT CHIPS or the DIRECTIONAL ONE 3 WATT CHIP ??? again only if 1157 are DRL and not the turn signals.

ARCTIC WHITE HEADLIGHT BULBS - STAGE 1
for the fog lights I would go with the NOK6521 881 27w i guess??

ARCTIC WHITE HEADLIGHT BULBS - STAGE 1
and for the hi's i would go with NOK7416 H7 55w right??

and all of these bulbs are plug and play right, no further wiring or modifications are needed??

sorry for all of the questions, but i really dont want to order something thats not gonna work out

thanks a lot

Ahh, that's what walmart sells, Silverstar by Sylvania :) I couldn't exactly remember the name.

*Edit*

If I'm not mistaken, I believe this is the correct size for our car, H1, and is the Silverstar Bright White headlight. Not overly expensive.

Amazon.com: Sylvania H1 ST BP 8 TWIN SilverStar 12V 55-Watt High Performance Halogen Headlight: Automotive
On you koup the lights from grill going out are as follows:
Closest to grill = DRL/High beam (same bulb) H1
next bulb = Low Beam H11b
Last buld = Park Lamp/Turn signal 1156

As for which ones to choose Other GTAFK members have used this one: ARCTIC WHITE HEADLIGHT BULBS - STAGE 1 either 880 or 881 will work (i would use 881 that is the stock bulb)

As for your DRL/High Beam not sure if you can use a H7.....

As for your park lamps...I used switchbacks from v-leds others have used them from Diode Dynamics.

Hope this helps.

okay i understand better now. so if i get the switchbacks from diode dynamics and i already have the HID for night time, so i only need the DRL/high beams bulb which are the same NOK7417 H1 55w , and also the fog lights go with NOK6521 881 27w

is that correct, sorry for all the confusion
That would be correct. I just don't remember stock wattage for the drl/high but 55w sounds right. You can order these from performance improvements in Brampton. That is where others got them from.

sounds good thanks for all of your help
so i went with the NOKYA bulbs,

got a
NOK7417 - H1 55w & NOK6521 - 881 27W

each were $19.99 + $8 shipping coming from garage16.ca
way cheaper than performance improvements who want $34.99 each for them

I'll let you guys know how they look when they arrive
I can tell you right now what the fogs look like. LOL. Nordic Wagon has them on his car. Would love to see this in person.
