Hey guys, I am in Calgary... looking to get into a white Forte Koup SX
But Northland doesn't have it and they're saying it'll take months to get into. I kinda get the idea that they're jerking me around so I"ll buy their black one right away. Who else has dealt with these guys?
Anyone know what the other Kia dealers in Calgary, or southern AB are like?

Have you checked the dealers in Edmonton also? Might be worth the drive up to get what you want.

I got my Titanium Silver from Northland, I have nothing but good things to say about these guys! RJ Really went to bat for me on the credit side of things!

That being said I really wanted a white one too! and they told me the same thing, it could take awhile to get one. I am assuming that White is very rare. but I love my silver.

Hey i got mine from Northland too.. And RJ was definetely VERY helpful. He got me where I wanted, considering I'm a new driver and all, and the Koup was my first car. But the same thing happened to me too, test drove and told them I'm very interested in the Koup, but a white or black one. Back then they didn't have it in stock. I was debating on either the EX or the SX. The sales guy (Frank) pretty much told me the deals would be gone if I waited long enough. He wanted me to buy the EX off their lot. I didn't want to wait for a long time too since I needed the car for work, so I just got the Silver EX Koup. But in general they're pretty good.

Yeah, that's what their website says but I don't trust it. Can you confirm this? I would be more than happy to make the drive up so I can have a nice drive back.

Don't repeat this on beyond, but I love my Kia! One of the better purchases I've made in the last few years, and I've had everything from a 91 MR2 Turbo that was hopped up to about 300whp to a 2003 Saab 9-3 Vector. This little Kia is my favourite by far!

I bought from Kia City. It was an in-out transaction. Went in one day, drove home the next. Can't complain.

off topic but yeah, the people on beyond are such Kia haters. Just saying cuz i saw their posts bashing the Koup and Kia in general. People just can't get over the fact that Kia's changed.

Beyond is a great site (I'm a mod there),but yea, they're definitely not into Kias. I don't blame them, really. The Koup is probably the first Kia that demographic would be interested in anyway.

Yeah, Beyond is a hard to sway crowd of ballin off the hook car enthusiasts. You either drive a BMW or a Civic on that site
Maybe one day when my car is done the way I want it I will tempt the wrath of beyond and show them how good a Kia can look.

I just got a black sx and love it. Went to kia city in calgary and they were not so nice and not willing to come down on price at all. went to eastside kia and got a better deal. I wanted the orange one and kia city had it in stock and said it was sold when the other dealership called them so i settled for the black one. I love it so much. can't wait to do my first road trip.
