Went to the dealer today to get the airbag reprogram done, and they told me about another campaign for a pcm reprogram. From what Ive been able to figure out, it is just to prevent a MIL for code p0304 (4th cylinder misfire) caused by engine vibration, but (to all you kiatech's out there) does it touch on anything else? or is it just for the vibration causing false misfire code issue?

oh, and do they check manual transmission gear oil in the "multi-point inspection"? I have the red box for auto trans fluid marked meaning it needs attention but I was thinking maybe they did that just because I have a manual and thus no atf?
and what all is involved in the 30k service?

Il make sure they wont touch my ecm. Or I will loose my flash. I get a misfire on cylinder four when using the wot box its normal I just clear the code.
