				How many miles in your car? It might be still in warranty It's out of warranty. 155,000. I got this code right around 80,000 miles. I can't find anyone to tell me why and what is causing it. My cars been at Kia they said all the numbers for both O2 sensors look fine. Makes no sense. Someone had told me check the intake manifold gasket for leaks. He said the plastic manifold don't like the heat and the gasket could have a small leak could be throwing the lean code. So that's my next step. Wish me luck.

O and some people say change gas cap. Did that no change.

O and some people say change gas cap. Did that no change.

Well mine had 84,000 and dealer said catalytic converter was bad and my lower o2 sensor. 3500.00 to fix. Told them I did not have that kind of money. So I emailed Kia Corp. And after several emails, they told my dealer to replace free as a one time warranty since it was only 4,000 miles over the warranty. So far so good. Light is off

Good to know that it is the converter. No emissions here in Florida I will figure it out.Thank you. now I know what to focus on.
