Wow, I can't even imagine how that would happen. I doubt the warranty will cover it but I haven't read it in a while.
Cleaning my car and found this
I decided on my way home i would take advantage of the nice weather and wash off my car since I haven't gotten to do so in about 2 or 3 weeks due to horrible weather so after i cleaned it off I look at the bottom of my fenders and i see this. That is just the drivers side it has also done the same thing on the passenger side. My question is the wore out paint covered under warranty. I am fairly pissed off at this point because I haven't even had this car for a year and its having paint problems.

Do you have the OEM splash guards on your Koup? That seems very high up the rocker panel.
That is definitely a concern and I'd go to the dealer for put in a warranty claim before any corrosion begins.

No I don't have the splash guards on my koup. I plan on calling the dealer tomorrow after i get out of school.
That really sucks... judging from the pic I doubt splash guards would have helped ????? You must travel a lot of gravel roads in order for that to happen....
It would seem that way but the thing is I don't drive on gravel or dirt roads at all.
Paint has a limited warranty of 3 years or 36 months. That looks like its sticking out more than the rest of the panel.

That's the half of the driveway my dad always parks on. I park down off our hill on pavement.
after looking at the photo for awhile, is it my eyes or is the body not aligned properly, cause to me it appears the front is not flush with the rear. If any body part sticks out to far it will be subject to road spray.. Take a look and see in person.

No I haven't the wheels are stock except taking the inserts out.

After visually inspecting it. It seems to be lined up fine, but I'm calling the dealer tomorrow and see what they say about it.
I agree in the picture is looks out of alignment..

If not I'll just have to get some touch up paint for it for right now. I'm in college and my father bought me the car for college and if my dealership doesn't hold up to the warranty, which I'm not sure this is even covered anyway, but if not its modding time.

How does them treating that part of your paint as a warranty make (or not make it) 'modding time'? That's a really dumb thought process, no offense. What you have there is a fairly inexpensive fix. Not to mention that most mods you can do without affecting your warranty. Find a new dealer? All Kia's within the U.S. will serve a warranty for your vehicle.My though process is like this. It sounds like you'd be modding your vehicle out of spite because they potentially will not cover any other warranties, in the end they will make more money off of you and you will be the loser.
