Passenger reportedly dead. Maybe the low safety scores aren't too far off
At that speed you could die in just about any car... let’s get real here.. not one crash test factors 100+ mph speeds crashing into 60+ mph oncoming traffic.

I would NOT place the blame of that death on Kia. That responsibility lies squarely on the driver of that car. Period.

That fact anyone survived that is a testament to modern unibody construction.

I think the police should have taken him out long before this happened... less mess to clean up. Less people put in harms way.. done.

The way the pickup was thrown it is amazing the driver survived.

Nowadays if the police did that they would be in trouble so they just do what the can to try to let it run until something happens then the blame is not on them
You can bet there will be multiple lawsuits - by the criminals as well as the innocent victims - and they will all win. The taxpayers will pay out million$.
The Police are in a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" situation.
I believe in the "Halt, BLAM, or I'll shoot...again" method for the Police...:)
