Since to colder weather has come (Australia) I have notice a few annoying rattles appearing in the dash. I am almost certain it's the plastic heating duct that directs air onto your feet. It looks a very paltry setup and creaks when touched, I have tried to dynamat it but no good. Has anyone else found this problem .

How old is your Forte? the dealership should take car of squeaks and rattles for a little bit under warranty.

Hey also some people mention in other forums about a rattle from the door with music playing. I have looked into this myself as mine did the same thing on my passenger door. If I pushed on the door, it stopped, so I figured it had to be the vertical handle for the door. I popped off the cap plate on this handle tightened the screws, and backed the cap piece with thin automotive foam tape, put back in place...no more rattles. Hope this might be useful to someone else.
