DCT clutch replacement.

Has anyone done a clutch or transmission r&i on a DCT forte/hyundai? Just looking for any heads up or advice. Thank you.

I heard they just replace the whole trans if the clutch goes out under warranty and send the one that broke back to Korea for use in R&D
Cool... but I want to do it myself, I just don’t know if f there are any tricks or surprises along the way

After watching this video:

It looks like it is possible to to 'enhance' the clutch set with better performing plates, that would then allow for a higher torque limit aka more horsepower without causing damage to the DCT, but it would be an expensive and time consuming task.
It would be interesting to see about swapping to a Tucson clutch pack if it’s genuinely a stronger setup. The next thing I wonder is how it would function going to a springless disc.. I wish these transmissions were easier to r&i because I would be very motivated to try it.
