Thanks,it was very easy,the shift boot was only $9.99 and is made of very nice Italian leather.

You need to remove the holding ring on the stock boot and put it on the new boot,so the stock vinyl boot is useless without the ring,i think it's in the garbage,sorry.

I saw it to,i prefer mine,that one is more expensive and has stitches at one one place like the oem one,mine has stitches at four places.

Ok I've ordered mine (same as you got), however I have no clue how to remove the existing gear shifter knob and boot cover. Do you have a DIY on this or can you please do a quick write-up? I know that the gear shifter knob can be unscrewed, however once completely up how do I remove it?

Just pull the base off with your fingers, very easy,after remove the metal ring from the upper portion of the boot
