Just putting this out there - anyone else have these? Whenever you take off the seatbelt it hits the door and makes a mark. I've had my car since November 10 & already I have about a billion of these marks. Hate to see what it will look like after 5 years or so! The plastic on my Camaro was better than this!

you just can't let the seat belt go..
have to be a bit slow and careful, hold on to the buckle intell it get to the rest point.. I have no marks yet, Have had my car for 9 months now.

Cause then the seat belt is pulled out further and when you release it, it has further to travel, picks up speed and comes slamming back into the plastic...physics!!

Like a rubber band, pull it an inch, it goes about 2 feet, pull it 4 inches it goes across the room! I call it....."the seatbelt rubber band effect" lol

Yup thats exactly what I do; and as a result I've got no scratches.

Get the BMW M5 seat belt holders. Can find them on Ebay. Perfect fit for our cars and works like a charm. No more hitting the door and also brings it closer to you so no long reach back. Love these things.

I'm 130 lb and have absolutely no scratches/dings from the seatbelt. I even wear the seat belt to change my parking spot, i feel naked in my car without it

Butt I definitely have those marks. When I first got it I didn’t think anything of it then I started to see the marks so now I’m much more consciences about it and hold the belt all the way.
