Not sure if this has ever been discussed before, if it has, I apologize but how far can we mod the car without voiding warranty? I bought mine just about a year ago and am thinking of making minor paint mods and maybe installing the LED lights.. I just don't want to take it in for the next scheduled service and them being anal about me "touching" the car..

they have to prove whatever you did to the car caused the warrantied part(s) to fail in order to deny a warranty claim
google magnusson v moss warranty act

There is no such thing as a voided warranty. Each problem with your car is case by case. KOA has to prove that what you changed on the car caused your problem. If they determine you caused the problem they will deny your warranty claim. If they cant.....they have to approve the warranty claim.

in canada should still be same, exactly as lago says
its case by case, its not like "if i paint my car purple, powertrain warranty is out."
obviously anything you replace with a non oem, kia installed product, isnt going to be covered, but thats just common sense.
