My girlfriends father owns a bodyshop and get access to auctions of wrecked cars..... i found a forte koup SX smashed up and i was thinking about bidding on it for the rims, seats(black leather with red stiching), foglights, and possibly the dash cause it has the red ring around the speedo, also the gloss black fog light assembly and other stuff... i was wondering if these parts would fit the ex

ps.... it only has 1174 miles.... i wish i could do an engine swap but im 100% sure that would void the warranty lol but hey maybe i can keep it for a rainy day or after mine reaches 100k miles haha

Im pretty sure all of it should fit. just plug and play really. you would also want the light controls off the sx, for your fog lights... I have an ex with sx foglights, but right now there is no wiring for them... I would like the stock look of the sx.

I wonder is the Sedan SX has the red stiching on the seats... I might look for that a salvage yard. Cuz I seen a lot more Sedans on the road than the Koup,.

i have seen a couple sedans on the website its copart.com and i havent seen any with the red stiching....

@aidensgrand the koup sx im looking at is in houston TX lol.... im trying to get quotes on shipping as we speak

if i can win the bid and get it shipped for under 2000 ill probably do it figure the price of all those parts from kia would far exceed 2000

parts should swap no problem... and if you need wiring for the fogs on your ex all you need to do is go to your local hyundai dealer and ask for the pigtail connectors for the 07-09 hyundai elantra with the 881 bulbs and then run your own positive and ground wire with a switch..

if u go to copart.com you can search for cars all around the country soooo search for kia forte and found it lol.... now i just gotts figure out shipping and watch the bidding right now it is at $80 lol but im sure it will jump wayyy up the day of the auction which is 8/20
