Hey Guys,

Its my first time posting on the forums though I’ve been a heavy browser and learner for the last 5-6 months. First off i want to thank everyone especially D113 for all there intelligent questions (Saved me the time asking) and more importantly answers. D113 if it wasn’t for your multiple sound deadening posts i would have went nuts since i do all my own work on my car and in no way mechanically inclined. Plus the Rear Deck Rattle from the subs was almost enough for me to crash the car and collect the insurance and buy something else haha. However, i found your post and deadened in the same way and its working perfect.

Anyway when i bought the car i new right away i needed a sound system because i had one in my Camaro which i crashed. So i purchased:
Pioneer 4200 DVD (With Nav thing)
Alpine Type X Speakers for the front
Alpine Type R for the Rear Speakers
Plus a set subs for the trunk.

After putting all the junk in i realized there was no dash kit to be found. So i took a Dremel and tour the fascia to shreds. Well while doing my normal good search of the day for a dash kit i found a link someone posted to this.
https://escrow.alibaba.com/order/product_snap_shot_detail.htm?order_id=1000707495

Well after 2 weeks and a 100 dollars later i got it . Shipping was the biggest bullet to bight, that and not knowing if it would fit. Well like everything i seam to buy from china it work great till the end. When the "Flasher" button needed to be put in. For my Koup the button was to big to mount on the fascia piece. So i broke out the Dremel and once again went on a grinding, cutting, and drilling spree (Normally ends bad). Well the button is not exactly usable as its not securely in place for everyday use. However aesthetically i think i got it ill let you guys decide.

Please keep in mind im nothing more than an Aviation Major, I’m not a mechanic or fabricator and I’m too cheap to let one of them guys do it.

good stuff brother....can u use the features of the wheel?
I tried to get the Steering Wheel controls to work however, in my haste at 3 in the morning i may have wired the STEERING WHEEL CONT INTERFACE from metra, incorrectly.

Amazon.com: Metra Axxess ASWC Universal Steering Wheel Control Interface (Black): Electronics: Reviews, Prices & more

Im going to dive back into the wiring sometime this week because my DVD override stopped working too.

Also the67beast, your installer is more intelligent than i haha, i looked at it for a good 20 minutes and hot glue never even passed my mind. Thanks for the post ill try it out.
