So I've read a few other posts about people almost breaking their necks looking at our Koups while we're driving. I had my first one yesterday.

I was on my way to work and a couple of guys were in an older eclipse. They passed me up when I was slowing down to go into a gas station, just staring at my Koup like they had no idea what it was. I, of course, got a huge smile on my face. Anyway, I was filling up and sure enough they come pulling in next to me. The one guy hops out and said that it was "pretty funny" how I put a Kia emblem on it to fool other people. I was like "nope, it's a Kia, and a bad*ss one at that." He was really shocked. We sat and chatted for a bit, then played a little cat and mouse for the rest of my ride to work. He said he was really impressed with the looks and performance of my Koup, and when he was ready to trade in his ride, his first stop was going to Kia.
I love my Koup!!!!

Haha, I love these stories. I’ve caught so many people rubbernecking the Koup when I drive by them. Most recent was someone in a 2010 BMW. Not to mention every time I pull into a gas station, the attendants (I’m in Jersey) always mention something about the car.

“Wow, sweet ride! That’s a Kia? I’m going to look into them.”

“Nice ride, I thought that was an Audi.”

I love it.

I love these stories too!, its amazing how many people look at are cars and are like oooh wow! its a kia, they kind of leave you with that suprised head scratching motion lol.

my fav story i have is when i was just pullin back in to go to work from my lunch break and i was standin by my car with my friend and we were talkin about wheels i could put on it and this guy comes up with his wife and they start lookin at it and i was like can i help you? and he goes, is this a european car? haha i said no its actually korean and he said that it was a really beautiful car. then he walked over to his zo6 and left. made me smile a bit
