So I just got my catless dp from Tork and I am extremely siked for install. Only problem is I have never messed with my exhaust before. I've always had a shop do it for me but this time I want to get my hands dirty and do it myself. Anybody have any tips or a guide to help with the installation??? A DIY write up would be awesome right about now!

I got no idea until I actually look at it, but I'm willing to lend a helping hand if need be. Also in NJ. But in all honesty if it's like any other downpipe that I've seen...bring it to a shop. If the bolts snap off into the turbo housing it's a pain to get those out. Confirmed it. The bolts into the turbo are always the hardest part though.

I lived in Plainsboro for a while 10 years ago. There was a muffler shop in the Trenton area called Muff-Flex or something like that. If it still exists, I think the owner's name is Denny. A co-worker at the time recommended them. He did a custom Magna-Flow set up on my Passat W8 since no one made a bolt on.

@formeradvisor I did a quick google search and nothing came up. I'll have to do a little bit more research.
@zephyrusaurai You're like 45minutes from me. You ever go to any meets or anything in New Jersey? Would love to connect with some other owners.

Don't do Mufflex. They'll charge you way too much. Just find any decent shop around since it's just a downpipe install. You CAN do it yourself, but....I can't justify spending that much time on it if studs break. And not really, I don't care too much for the meet scene. I'll try to go to a few cars and coffee's when I'm not working, but I work too much.

I went to install Downpipe today and jeez space is tight underneath our car. I'll pay someone money for Install so far can't find a shop to do a catless Install. Quote me a price and I'll pay for it
