So I see on the "cons" section it says no factory LSD option. Is Kia doing away with it? I always turn that dang thing off anyway, nice to see Kia is making improvements. Just sucks the 2010's didn't come with LED running lights. Oh well...

LSD is "Limited Slip Differential". I think you're getting that confused with TSC - "Traction & Stabilty Control" which will always be available.

lsd would be great
and damn that sucks they are lowering the redline to 6k for 2011, hitting the rev limiter at about 6500-6600 now
I guess our cars will be like the very early 2000s honda s2000, higher redline (i think 9k v 8500 for later models. correct me if im wrong though, not a honda guy)

Mine is the 4 speed automatic, weighed at a truck stop with full tank of gas with nothing removed from the car. It actually said 2760, but truck stop scales only count in 20's.

yeah the first s2k's had a redline of 9k and the refresh model was like 8k or 8.5k but the later models also had a bit more torque =P

They're pretty thorough but we got a decent review still.
did you watch the video that came with the mag. They called the Koup a rental car, and should be measured against the tc and corolla. Are you kidding me??? One guy said they shouldn't have even been tested. This was a really bad review. I think the comment that hurt the most was, "this is a rental car".

the video was bad htey were running 17second 1/4miles i know its faster then that... also running 7.1 0-60 is a little slower then what i was getting... and the handling if you watch at the end the Koup pulled the highest G rating at 1.14G which blew the doors off the rest of the cars..... now the rest of the cars, mazdaspeed3 is a great car BUT a 30K car, the sentra suprised me but has alot more power hetn us AND an exclusive model (Si,specV,AMG,etc) where as the forte was just a loaded koup.....now the SI is what pissed me off it wasnt even a normal Si it was a HPE which has tuned suspension and wider tires then a stock Si.... so wasnt a fair fight.... personally out of all the cars i did like teh mazdaspeed3 and ofcourse hte koup..... also doesnt help the stock tires on the koup are garbage (why i drove about 30miles on them till i had aftermarket wheels and good tires....
