I bought switchback LEDs and the electronic flasher and put the bulbs in and took out the stock flasher (which took me a while) and now I can't get the new module in and its extremely annoying and I'm about to give up so I need help! Am I missing something? It seemed like it popped out and just put the new one in...not looking that way. Anyone please? And yes I have made sure I aligned the prongs the right way just can't get it in!

It took me like 5 mins once I lined it up right. Check that the new flasher does not have any plastic holders that may get in the way.

5 mins?! O god I wish lol I spent over an hour! It just wouldn't go in! U didn't have part of the car in your way where the top of the new one was hitting it? Is your new one significantly taller then the old one? There's no plastic on it whatsoever it's just the flashed with 3 prongs

Just pulled out, took photos, put back in. Took longer to upload and put in post. ;)

The prong that is perpendicular to the other goes towards the drivers seat.

How the fuck man? I was just trying for another half hour and cannot get it in! It's taller tho right? And you're not hitting anything? I have a piece of plastic covered in black styrofome stuff that's basically in the way! Is there anyway I can take that whole thing down and be able to do it where I can see it?

And there's writing on it, the way I'm doing it, the writing is facing the left towards the drivers seat?!

I have that piece wrapped in styrofoam as well, but if you angle the flasher to the front of the car as you insert it, it should not touch. And yes my new flasher is about twice the height of the older one. Let me go check to see if whole piece comes down.

Just pulled flasher again and it does not hit if it is lined up with the plug properly. Have you directly compaired the two flashers. Can you post a pic of them?

Hold the flasher in you hand. Look at the bottom. Hold flasher so that the 2 parallel prongs are horizontal and the single prong is verticle. no imagine this as the top of the connector. The vertical prong is toward the drivers seat.

When under the dash use you fingers to reach the top of the plug and feel for the holes. they should be about 1/4" to the inside. Hold flash at about a 45 degree angle towards the front of car. it should go right in.

I appreciate all the help fox thanks a lot. My hands actually are killing me from doing this so I can't do it right now. I don't know if it's just me that's having this problem or what but it seemed easy and idk if I'm making it harder then it is. Thanks fox

Look carefully at the size of the base of your new flasher, it can't be any larger than the original, there is almost no extra room in the socket. I had another member with the same problem before.
