Empty Gas Tank/Music playing

Please tell me I am not the only one this has happened to… but I was being irresponsible and failed to get gas. So I was driving to the gas station on a hope and prayer with 1 mile till empty.. and I noticed music playing in the back ground. I thought it was a malfunction with my Apple play.. but I turned my music down and it was still playing in the back. I have googled everything! And I’ve found absolutely NOTHING related to what I experienced today. Maybe reaching out to this forum will get me some answers.

I've not heard anything like that. But I've only let the tank get low enough that the low fuel light came on once.
You sure you don't have a portable bluetooth speaker in the trunk or a bag or something?

I think it was the fuel pump sucking air in and making music-like noises.

Unless you heard lyrics... then maybe gremlins were singing.

It was not down to 1 mile, it was the 1st floor of a hotel elevator which explains the background music, way too much partying. Be happy you are still alive.

I was hoping to hear the outcome as well. Hopefully she didn't find someone in the trunk.

I got down to 22 miles till empty today. Did not hear any music.

Curious what you find in the trunk. A gym bag with a speaker?

I’ve been under 5 miles left many many times and never once heard anything like this. If I remember correctly there was a member here that did an experiment and was able to drive another 50 or so miles past when the display indicated 0 miles before fully running out of fuel. Perhaps a coincidence? Someone was playing loud music behind you?

You know that's really going to interfere with the trunk monkey and his music:unsure:

I'm betting someone behind you was blasting music with the windows open. Making money for the ENT physicians. I don't know how anyone can drive like that, but they do.

Haven’t heard anything and I was on empty this week. Didn’t hear anything at all.
