I wanted to let you all know of the oil filter by NAPA which you can normally find yourself but a oil filter wrench that fits this and also the original filter would be one made by RiteFit 82mm 15 Flute No. A260. This is the one that can be used with a 3/8th socket driver and is the oil filter socket.

For my part, I bought this from Snap On Tools. It works great and fits many type of filters

FWA6296, Wrench, Oil Filter, Adjustable, 62 mm to 96 mm

I did think about buying that one. I don't know why I would care but I don't like the thought of destroying the oil filter.

With a oil filter socket, he sold me on it because it was 3.50 and doesn't slip either the guy a NAPA said it would slip so I said eh....gimme the socket\
