Hi, im jeremy. I am a Moderator on srtforums.com.
I am thinking about buying a kia forte SX. I understand it uses the 2.4 world engine. Can you use the intake manifold or exhaust from the caliber srt4 or the Hyundai Gen's? I saw that the 2.4 intake was plastic and couldn't handle to much boost.

the Hyundai uses a 2.0l. The srt4 does use the same 2.4l but I'm not sure that the blocks are exactly the same. The evo uses the same block but the way they are made are different. all the blocks are similar but not quite the same. I'm sure someone will give you a better answer very soon.

i think the caliber intake manifold bolts up, but im wondering about the turbofold.
I have an extra intercooler, wideband, and srt4 parts a plenty. Anyone have any service manuals on the forte so i can look at the head? I smell MEGASQUIRT!!!

I think if you register on this site it has all the manuals you would be looking for: Kia Global Information System (KGIS)

Going to do ALOT of research..If i get the car soon, it will be awhile before i do anything. The caliber motor is a 2.4 worldmotor and the internals are good for 500hp. I need a blown up forte!! lol
