I baby the shit out of my car!!! 2 years, 10k miles. Ain't nothing blowing up!

The V8 genny motor doesn't bolt up to the V6 tranny, plus I need some room under the hood for maybe....twin turbos down the road. That's the game plan. It's a 2-3 year project.

V6 turbo'd to 700whp, rwd conversion, wide body kit, but put the original Kia badges back on it. It's going to be a Kia on steroids. This year I'm just getting the conversion done. That's the main goal. Hopefully by next winter the turbos will be installed and the year after that body will be done. If you haven't noticed I make all my money in the winter. Hopefully my gf doesn't want kids in the next few years so I'm good!

For 20 grand i can take a WS6 and make it pull 8 seconds.....


I love our car and all.. It's just not a sport's car , and dumping anything more than bolt-ons into it , really just defeats the purpose. You dont start small and end up large in the US.... Americans start large and go larger.. Leave the Koup for the semi powerful ecobox... Espesially if your not going 8 cylinder... dumping 20k into a v6 just isnt my thing. If it's an import thing , Pull a wrecked toyota tundra's 5.7 , they are quite powerful... of course finding a transmisson to bolt up to it might create a problem... Im quite pissed anything larger than midsized trucks dont come in manuals. Im very fond of the tundra's v8..

Has anyone thought about modifying the Genesis frame and dropping the Koup body on top??? Cheaper and easier.... I mean come on guy's... Think smart , not expensive.

Was all for this til i saw 20k.. That's just a waste of an engine bay.

Plus when you buy a Kia, your not thinking about resale, your gonna drive that car into the ground and for the ten percent on here there gonna have one hell of a time doing it. When K.I.A. Does this it will hopefully bring the forte into the spotlight of the tuner world instead of being cast aside for the civic or TC. So you're saying when someone presents himself the way KIA does, it's justified because they're "just having fun"? I'd love to see how your children turn out.

KIA is no more a car person than anyone else on this forum. He's not doing this mod himself because he lacks the capabilities.

I'd personally love to see this happen and will be one of the first to congratulate him if it does. I just don't see how so many of you can be so quick to have faith in someone with such little technical knowledge, not to mention maturity.
