Hi guys, I just got my 2010 Koup and I like the sound I'm getting but its very quiet. I was hoping to mod the exhaust to make it louder but at the same time not pay $400-$700 for a new set up. I also can't straight pipe because here in Virginia we have inspection and a straight pipe set up would fail inspection. Any help would be appreciated Thanks!

Test Pipe? I don't know how much about inspection testing since I live in Indiana and I don't have to worry about silly things like that, haha. Kinda looks like a CAT if they just do a quick visual inspection of an exhaust. That would definitely add some tone and volume to it. Or simply swapping mufflers can open up the sound w/o going full cat-back/axle-back.

Why not install whatever you want and just uninstall it before testing?

If you're just going for cheap sound, you could
easily just pick up a muffler from online or
any auto parts store and get it welded on. Fuel110 on here has
a flowmaster( i think) that sounds pretty good.
As stated before a test pipe will at a little more
sound too but you'll get a check engine light unless
you happen to have a California emissions
model and youl have to change it out for
inspections. You could got with a high flow cat
and won't get a CEL but they aren't cheap either.

It was $60 for the muffler and to install it and make a custom bracket, it cost $165. They overcharged me I think but it's the best mod I ever did.
