I painted my own cover with black spray paint serval months ago.
Not sure what color your car is but
yes you can go to a paint shop give them the color code and they'll put the paint in a spray can for you
But some places might make you buy xx amout of paint so you could end up with serval cans
Ps I used regular spray paint have no issues
