I bent one of my OEM steel rims and I need a replacement. But in order to be sure of getting the correct width, I need to know the exact width I already have. I'm looking for the size and your group's recommendations for the best way to acquire such a rim.

On Amazon, I found this:

Dorman 939-124 Steel Wheel (15x5.5

Dorman 939-124 Steel Wheel (15x5.5"/5x115mm)

This means replacing a pair of wheels. No big deal I guess except that the car will have different sizes front to back, and if they get mixed up the alignment will not be correct.

Let me know your thoughts, and thanks

Local parts store doesn't carry wheel rims. Already tried. I think the best solution is the Dorman replacement wheel. Finding a 5.0 rim locally would be a stroke of luck. And I can't count on luck at this point.

First, do you have 15" or 16" steel wheels?
My suggestion is to purchase a wheel from eBay or LKQ or a local salvage yard.

Junk yards have told me the first thing they do when a car Arrives is recycle the wheels because they get a lot of money for them. So I've lost hope of finding an original rim.

It's a 15 inch wheel. It's going to be a problem to verify the width sight unseen. 2013 forte is 15x5. Later models are 15x5.5.

I'm going to have to go with the 5.5 on 2 wheels and 5.0 on the other 2. And keep the wheels from getting mixed up.

It could turn out to be a royal pain.
