Sorry about the poor image quality. It looks awesome when sitting in my car.

dose the light saber light up??? if it did that would be bad ass
I was thinking of a way to have that. Ill figure it out later.
lol wow cool. how'd you make it fit?

I have the same Darth Vader but wobbly head version. You would cut the base of saber and glue an LED to it then glue the saber to the top of LED. Would look cool. Have it activate when clearance lights are on.
I drilled a (half inch i think) hole the size of the shifter rod up the center of vader (drilled vader a new one). Then I took the shifter off and eyeballed what height i wanted. I took the cone shaped shifter lock cover and slid it down the rod and filled it with hot glue. After a couple minutes it cooled and was solid stuck on the rod at the perfect height. I then stuck the glue gun up vader's newly drilled bummy hole and filled him with hot glue. I also put a thick layer of glue on the top of the shifter plate and slid vader down the rod onto the shifter cover, adjusted, and let dry.

It came out perfect.

And now you have a permanently constipated Vader. Good job! Lol.
Eh! Kinda childish IMO but cool idea

Childish? nah, my sons interest is childish. If you read over the whole of Vader, you'd find it to be the most inappropriate kids story ever.
You HAVE to be one of the biggest star wars nuts I've ever met but that is totally awesome cause I am to I just keep mine in the closet lol...
Ok groper maybe childish wasn't the right word and im not trying to offend u in any way, and it is rly cool and u did it nicely...just IMO, I wouldn't do sucha thing in my 20K car but to each their own. In no way was I trying to be a dick or anything so my bad if it came off like that.
lol skaksfortesx & ylgroper (and anyone else holding back out there)

it takes a lot of different types to make the world go around

thankfully- this forum is made up of exactly those types :)

i think one reason we bought this particular car was to stand out from the crowd

some stand out w/lights,
some w/spoilers,
some w/other stuff.(i could put more examples- but y'all know what i mean)

not every shoe is going to fit every foot but-
you can not beat the feel of a shoe that fits.

i gottta admit- ylgroper- took balls to post that picture not only here- but on facebook
(and let me guess- the anakin is the light beer? :) )

seriously- w/the widespread population that the forte is making inroads into-
why hasnt anyone come out with a hello kitty version?

cuz hello kitty would be bringing everything out of the closet lol

Exactly right; Anakin on the light side, Vader on the dark. We did black and tans the first night i dual tapped it.

Its funny because my girl has hello kitty all over her car.

I wanted to say a few things..

I couldn't take offense to anyone hating on Vader, or the idea that its the theme of my car. Darth Vader is the hardest character created. Just go read the bio on this f#chin guy.

Additionally, its not a star wars thing. Its Darth Vader. Sure my son loves star wars (more then likely he got into it because I have vader all over the house and as every wallpaper). You've all seen the Kia/sorento commercials. How many of you with, or even without, kids watch yo gabba gabba? Yet the icon advertising Kia's most luxurious and "grown up" car is marketing with "childish" symbolism.

Pictures is one thing. For those suggesting that my car comes off as foolish/childlike/immature your jaws would drop if you sat in my car and seen how its wired, customized, and set up. Pshh, dropping jaws and panties. With all mods from rims and ornament, to av/media and electronics/power my car to me has surpassed any car I've ever seen, not to mention a forte. Nobody has what I've done. I know because i designed and wired it myself. Two more mods and I've done about all i care to do. When i toss my hat in for FOTM I will break it all down.

You're right groper and I should respect the fact that you do what u want to with your car and I do with mine and I don't see u hating on my car so my bad. And you're also right cuz your car is sick and very different and you KNOW that there's only one in the world! Is the vader shifter plastic? Will it break after a while maybe?
