I went on my first long distance road trip this weekend and was really pleased with my Koup SX 6 spd. It was about 322 km each way (to Kelowna, BC) through a very high mountain highway and I averaged 7.9 to 8.7 km /100 km fuel consumption. There were really long hills, some 20-30 km so that's really good. I averaged 130-160 km/hr so I probably could have done better if I'd slowed down, but the car is so much fun....who'd want to? I ran into summer, spring and winter on the trip....a snowstorm for about 20 km on the way back which wasn't a lot of fun.

Love that drive, i am from calgary but born and raised in vancouver. I have a black sx and can't wait to take it on my first road trip....how fun

You'll have fun, Koups just eat up the rooad and corner so nicely. July or August would be a little less scary than the weather I had.
